Cake Auction Raised $250

When the Cub Scouts were asked to make a cake with a 'Native American' theme they thought it was a good idea.  That was not the same reaction from some of the parents - who are asked to assist their scouts. One parent even asked, "Who thought of that?" and another parent was heard responding, "not me".  But, despite the reluctant parent reaction, the kids came through with over ten cakes for the Pack 742's Annual Cake Auction.

Every cake sold during the auction and the highest cake sold for $55.00 (we think it was the parent who said, "not me").

The Pack raised nearly $250.00 in a very heated auction with laughs for all.  The money will be used for Pack events and community projects.  And, on a side note, the highest selling cake was immediately cut up and eaten by everyone.  Good times!
