The Bear Uniform


Tiger, Wolf, and Bear uniforms are the same except for the hat, Neckerchief, and slide.

  • Shirt - The official navy uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves, with Atlanta Area Council and 129 patches
  • Hat - Official navy hat with light blue front and Bear emblem.
  • Neckerchief - Light blue triangular neckerchief with Bear logo.
  • Slide - Official gold-tone metal slide with light blue Bear emblem.
  • Belt - Official navy Wolf belt. Scout will earn belt loops for completed adventures. Scout can put the loops on the belt.
  • Pants - Can purchase any navy shorts, long pants, skorts, or roll up pants.

  • New Slide
The Uniform Code:

Your child should/will be encouraged to wear his uniform appropriately.  The shirt should always be tucked in and orderly. He/She should understand the importance of representing the entire Scouts BSA Organization while in uniform.

Patches You don't need to Buy:

Any badge or patch that your child earns will be awarded (at no cost) during the Monthly Pack Meetings.  You will need to sew them on, but they are provided. Pack 129 offers patch sewing service, contact Kristen Tyson for more info.

Before most pack meetings we normally make a trip to the Atlanta Scout Shop. You should email any achievements or advancements done at home (patches, belt loops, pins, etc.) to your Den Leader a few days before a pack meeting.
