Who: This award may be earned by Bear and Wolf Cub Scouts, and Webelos Scouts. Unfortunately, Lion and Tiger Cub Scouts are not eligible for the Nova Awards. What: Akelas!! Are you looking for a fun, educational activity for your Wolf, Bear, or Webelo this summer? Well, look no further than the Fearful Symmetry Nova Award! Each day, for the next five days, I will post simple, fun activities that your Cub Scouts can complete. After completing all five activities, they will have met the requirement to earn the Fearful Symmetry Nova Award! Why: Cub Scouts have an awesome opportunity to learn more about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) by earning a Cub Scout Nova award. These awards are meant to excite and expand a sense of wonder in our Scouts. The Fearful Symmetry Nova teaches your Scout about how symmetry affects their daily lives.
