KINDERGARTEN: Age 5-6

MEETINGS: Two Sundays a month- Time: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
LOCATION: Scout Hut at Kelley Cofer Park
The Lion scout program is for boys and girls starting Kindergarten or between the ages of 5 and 6.
Lion Scouts will make friends, laugh loudly, gain confidence, discover nature, and most of all… have fun! They’ll experience the Scouting concepts of character development, leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness through engaging and exciting adventures!! Lion Scouts will have a blast exploring the world around them in ways that fuel their imagination and creativity. Together, they’ll take their first steps down the path to success. Adventure awaits!
As a den, we will work on the six required adventures and two elective adventures.
Please review the Youth Protection booklet with your scout at home.
You can help your Scout earn adventures at home. Please let the den leader know when you complete an adventure.
UNIFORMS:
Your Scout will need a Lion T-shirt, a yellow Lion neckerchief and slide, and the Cub Scout belt
The official Lion hat and the Cub Scouts Switchback pants are optional. You may purchase any navy pants, shorts, or skort with belt loops.
Uniform apparel and accessories can be purchased at Scout Shop Online or at two local stores:
