SECOND GRADE: Ages 7-8
DEN LEADERS: Annemarie Fisher and Adrianne Edwards
MEETINGS: Two Sundays a month Time: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
LOCATION: Scout Hut at Kelley Cofer Park
The Wolf Cub Scout program is for boys and girls who are going into 2nd grade or between the ages of 7 and 8.
Wolf scouts will learn about their community and our country. They will start to build on outdoor skills, including hikes and campouts. They will also learn how to work as a group with fun activities!
To earn the Wolf patch:
Your Scout will need to complete the six required adventures and two elective adventures found in the Wolf Handbook. They will also need to watch a Protect Yourself video as part of their Safety in Numbers Adventure. When your Scout completes an adventure, they will get a belt loop at the next Pack Meeting.
As a den, we will work on four of the required adventures and at least one elective together.
The Footsteps Adventure, Youth Protection booklet, and Protect Yourself video are to be done at home as a family.
You can also help your Scout earn adventures at home. Please let the den leader know when you complete an adventure so it can be marked and awarded.
Uniforms
Your Scout will need a BSA blue shirt, red Wolf neckerchief and slide, and Cub Scout belt.
The official Wolf hat and the Cub Scouts Switchback pants are optional. You may purchase any navy pants, shorts, or skort with belt loops.
