FIRST GRADE: Ages 6-7

DEN LEADERS: Annemarie Fisher

MEETINGS: 2nd and 4th Sundays  Time: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

LOCATION: Scout Hut at Kelley Cofer Park

The Tiger Scout program is for boys and girls who are going into 1st grade or between ages 6-7.

Tigers will do activities involving simple physical and mental skills. The program emphasizes shared leadership, learning about the community, and family understanding.

To earn the Tiger patch:

Your Scout will need to complete the six required adventures and two elective adventures found in the Tiger Handbook. They will also need to watch a Protect Yourself video as part of their Tigers Roar Adventure. When your Scout completes an adventure, they will get a belt loop at the next Pack Meeting.

As a den, we will work on four of the required adventures and at least one elective together.

The Tiger Circles Adventure, Youth Protection booklet (required with the Bobcat Adventure) and Protect Yourself video are to be done at home as a family.

You can also help your Scout earn adventures at home, please let the den leader or advancement chair know when you complete an adventure so it can be marked and awarded.

UNIFORMS:

Your Scout will need a BSA blue shirt, orange Tiger neckerchief and slide, and Cub Scout belt.

Official Tiger Scout hat and the Cub Scouts Switchback pants are optional. You may purchase any navy pants, shorts or skort with belt loops.
