The Webelos Scout program is for boys and girls who are going into 4th grade or between the ages of 9 and 10.
Webelos is a word made up of the first letters of: "WE'll BE LOyal Scouts".
Webelos Scouts will learn how to prepare to join a Scouts BSA Troop while learning outdoor skills. A well-run group of Webelos is a gradual change from being an 'adult-run' den to being a 'scout-run' patrol, ready to fit right into an adventurous Scout Troop.
To earn the Webelos patch:
Your scout will need to complete the six required adventures and two elective adventures found in the Webelos Handbook. They must also watch a Protect Yourself video as part of their My Safety Adventure. When your scout completes an adventure, they will get a pin at the next Pack Meeting to put on their Adventure Colors ribbon.
As a den, we will work on four of the required adventures and at least one elective together.
The My Family Adventure, Youth Protection booklet, and Protect Yourself video are to be done at home as a family.
You can also help your scout earn adventures at home. Please let the den leader know when you complete an adventure so it can be marked and awarded.
UNIFORMS
Your Scout will need a BSA blue shirt, Webelos neckerchief and slide, and the Adventure Colors ribbon.
The official Webelos hat and the Cub Scouts Switchback pants are optional. You may purchase any navy pants, shorts, or skort with belt loops.

-OR- be thrifty, ask about our uniform trade-in program. You can also find used uniforms and accessories at some thrift stores or on Facebook Marketplace.
Let a leader know if you need help acquiring a uniform or accessories like neckerchiefs or slides.
